Is there a limit to the amount of active Defence cards a player can have?
There is no limit. You can have multiple Defence cards in play at once.

What are some examples of how the Get Forked Attack card works?
Example 1: Player A plays Get Forked, dealing 1 damage to Player B and Player C. Player B is first on the left, so they can retaliate first. Player B plays Chain Lightning, passing the 1 damage to the left to Player C. Player C has now taken 2 damage and plays Feedback, returning 2 damage back to Player B. If Player B has no Defence cards in play and no Retaliation cards, they lose 2 Lightning Essence cards.
Example 2: Player A plays Get Forked, dealing 1 damage to Player B and Player C. Player B plays Feedback, passing the 1 damage back to Player A. Player A can now retaliate. If Player A chooses not to, they lose 1 Lightning Essence card. Player C is then taking 1 damage and can play Retaliation cards.
Once all attacks and damage are resolved for every player, the Get Forked attack is complete.
Tips and Tricks
- Place Defence cards as your first action before drawing or attacking other players.
- Play the Big Red Button Action card to cancel a player’s active Defence card before you attack them.
- Play the Monkey Monkey Action card when it’s your last card in your hand.
- Play Retaliation cards before using a Big Red Button Action card. Keeping Big Red Button available lets you counter the very powerful Shocking Deal Attack card if it appears.
